Caltex — 90th Anniversary

To commemorate Caltex's 90th anniversary, we crafted the opening sequence for the brand's corporate anniversary film — a journey from its early beginnings in the 1930s to the present day. We built a collage-style animation that brings together archival photographs, historical advertisements, newspaper clippings and vintage brand assets into a layered visual narrative that reads as a dynamic timeline. Paper textures, masking, parallax and faux stop-motion give the archival material depth and life, while subtle camera moves, lighting, shadows and texture overlays enrich every scene. Kinetic, seamless movement keeps the heritage story feeling contemporary — honouring nine decades of the Caltex star while looking firmly ahead.
